Getting it and pricing

When can I get it?

Friday, October 23, 2026. Leave your email on the home page and the download link comes to you that day.

What is free and what is in Studio?

The free version stabilizes GoPro and DJI O4 flights, edits on the timeline, grades with the built in LUTs and looks, syncs one camera to one audio file, and exports H.264 up to 4K with no watermark. Studio adds festival and multi cam sync, noise reduction, optical flow slow motion, the auto editor, audio remix, the AI logo, batch export, 10 bit HEVC and every aspect ratio at once.

What does Studio cost?

$99 one time, no subscription. It runs on two computers and includes every 3.x update. If it is not for you, ask for a full refund within 14 days.

Is there a free trial of Studio?

The free version is the trial. Run your own flights through it, and you can see every Studio tool in the app before you buy.

Does the free version add a watermark?

No. Free exports are clean H.264 up to 4K.

Stabilization

Which cameras does it stabilize?

GoPro HERO5 and newer, and the DJI O4 Air Unit and O4 Air Unit Pro, each from its own gyro data. Record with in camera stabilization off on both: HyperSmooth off on GoPro, electronic stabilization off on O4.

Is gyro stabilization in the free version?

Yes. Stabilization, lens correction and horizon leveling are all in the free version.

How should I record for the best stabilization?

Turn in camera stabilization off, use the Wide lens (not SuperView or ultra wide) and the tallest aspect ratio your camera offers, record above your delivery size, and keep the shutter crisp in daylight. Stop jello at the mount with a soft mount and balanced props.

What if I recorded with HyperSmooth on?

The clip is already stabilized by the camera, so SyncFPV edits, grades, syncs and exports it like any other clip. Gyro stabilization is meant for flights recorded with HyperSmooth off.

Can I keep the roll for freestyle?

Yes. Set Horizon to Free and lower Smoothness to keep every roll and flip without the shake.

Audio sync

Does sync only work at festivals?

No. It was built for festival board audio, the hardest case there is, and it syncs any outside recording: a field recorder at a car meet, a lav at a wedding, a mixer at a game. Studio lines up every camera of the day on one timeline.

Do I have to slate every flight?

No. Film the SyncFPV Slate’s clock check for 10 seconds with each GoPro before the first set and after the last one. SyncFPV finds those clips, measures how far each camera’s own clock is off and how much it drifts, and gives every flight its true time. Slate a flight anyway when you want the artist on the picture.

Do I need GoPro Labs firmware?

No, but it makes the clocks easy: Labs sets every camera’s clock from the slate’s code. Without it, set the clock in Quik. Either way the two clock checks measure each camera’s clock, so every flight is placed frame accurate.

What audio do I need from the console?

One recording per artist set, or one of the whole night (SyncFPV cuts it into sets by the lineup, finding each changeover in the sound). WAV if possible, the raw files, started before your first flight. The recorder’s clock does not have to be right. A setlist is optional and names the songs.

What if a flight barely heard the music?

SyncFPV uses every clue it has across the whole night, including each camera’s checked clock, so a flight that heard mostly motors still lands where it belongs, and a track played twice in the night never fools it. Every flight gets a confidence rating, so you know which ones to preview.

Does it work with footage I already stabilized?

Yes. Export from your stabilizing app with audio on. If a stabilized file lost its audio, point SyncFPV to the original GoPro files and it takes the sound from those.

Does it work with DJI drones?

Yes, in two ways. The LUTs for DJI drones are built in, so you can grade DJI footage next to your GoPro flights. DJI sync is in beta: Mavic 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro, DJI Flip, Inspire 3 and other DJI drones sync to the board audio when the show also has GoPro flights. A show with only DJI footage is not supported yet.

Editing and export

Which aspect ratios can I export?

8:7, 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5. Studio exports every shape at once in a batch, named and foldered for the client.

Which codecs does it export?

H.264 in both versions, and 10 bit HEVC in Studio. Sizes from native down to 720, with AAC 320k or PCM 24 bit audio, the drone mic as a second track, or a synced WAV per clip.

What does the auto editor do?

It cuts your selects to the beat of the music with speed ramps, transitions and motion blur. You get a finished reel as a starting point, and every cut stays editable. It is part of Studio.

Computers

Windows or Mac?

Both. Windows 10 and 11, and Macs with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) on macOS 14 Sonoma or newer. There is no Intel Mac version. FFmpeg is built in, so there is nothing extra to install. A graphics card makes exports faster on NVIDIA, Intel, AMD and Apple, but it isn’t required.

How many computers can I use Studio on?

Two computers you own, with one license.
