The FPV video editor with gyro stabilization built inFrom the card
to the client.
SyncFPV Studio is the all in one editor built for FPV pilots. Stabilize GoPro and DJI O4 flights from their own gyro, sync to any outside audio, grade, cut and deliver every format your client needs, without leaving the app.
Stabilize. Sync. Color. Edit. Deliver. Gyro stabilization for GoPro and DJI O4. Audio sync that hears through the motors. A full color suite, an auto editor and a timeline. Batch delivery in 10 bit HEVC. Windows and Apple Silicon Mac. Current build 3.54.1.
FPV stabilization
Gyro stabilization, right inside the editor.
Gyro stabilization made for GoPro and DJI O4 footage, built into the editor itself. Open a flight and it is already steady, read from its own gyro, and it stays steady through sync, color, the cut and every export. Nothing to render out and bring back in.
How FPV gyro stabilization works in SyncFPV
Flip the switches. This is the same choice you make per flight in SyncFPV: steady it, level it or keep the roll, and take the fisheye out so the truss stays straight.
From the camera’s own gyro
GoPro HERO5 and newer (HyperSmooth off) and the DJI O4 Air Unit and O4 Air Unit Pro. The gyro is read from the file and lined up with the picture by itself.
Tuned on real flights
Smoothness, Cropping speed and Lens correction were tuned frame by frame on real flights, not lab footage.
The fisheye out
Lens correction keeps every straight line straight out to the corners, so the truss and the skyline don’t bend as the camera turns.
Hold the horizon
Level the horizon for cinematic passes, or keep every roll for freestyle. One click looks for each.
Plays at once
5.3K clips play the moment they open, decoded on the graphics card. No preview copies to wait for, with or without stabilization.
No round trip
The steady picture follows the flight onto the timeline, into the grade and into every export. Nothing to render out and bring back in.
1 Record with HyperSmooth off, so the gyro data in the file is the only stabilization applied.
Where it started: audio sync
Synced to the board. Not the props.
SyncFPV was born inside a festival workflow. A naked GoPro rides a few centimeters from four screaming motors, and a general sync tool hears only props. Our audio analyzer was built to hear through them, then refined set after set on real show audio. Today it syncs any outside recording, from the festival board to a field recorder at a car meet, across every camera of the day.
How SyncFPV syncs FPV footage to audio
MAIN STAGE
3 PILOTS
This is the problem no general sync tool was built for. SyncFPV’s engine was designed from day one around FPV motor noise, then tuned flight after flight on real festival sets until it could pull the show out from underneath it. It’s the part that takes years of flying shows to even understand, and it’s built in.
Before the first set and after the last one, film the slate’s clock check for 10 seconds with each GoPro. SyncFPV reads the clock and hears the beep, measures how far each camera’s own clock is off and how much it drifts, and gives every flight its true time, so no flight needs a slate. Slate one anyway and its artist goes on the picture.
General multicam tools were built for clean audio. SyncFPV brings every clue it has to every flight, across the whole night, then tells you how sure it is. That’s how a flight that barely heard the music still lands where it belongs.
EDM loops repeat the same bars all set, so one clip on its own can look right in the wrong place. SyncFPV weighs the whole night, so the true spot stands out more with every flight you add. More flights means more accuracy, not more work. Every flight is rated HIGH, MEDIUM or LOW, so you know exactly what to double check.
Color grading and editing
Grade it, cut it. Same app.
A full color suite and an editor built around the tools FPV pilots reach for most, working on the steady picture from the moment you open a flight.
Everything in the FPV video editor
Grade the whole night
A full color suite. Grade once and the look carries across every flight of the shoot.
GoPro and DJI LUTs built in
Camera LUTs ship with the app, so GoPro flights and DJI drone footage sit side by side in one grade.
Starter looks
Clean, Festival Punch, Warm Golden Hour and Night Neon. A finished look in one click, fully adjustable after.
Clean night footage
Noise reduction made for small sensors in dark venues and late light, without smearing the detail out of the crowd.
Optical flow slow motion
New frames built between real ones, so a dive or a reveal slows down smooth instead of stuttering.
Graded once, delivered everywhere
The grade follows the flight into every shape and every export. Change it once and every version updates.
A timeline built for FPV
A full timeline with the tools pilots use most right up front: trims, speed ramps, music and titles. Fast to learn, fast to cut.
Cut to the beat
Your selects, cut to the music with speed ramps, transitions and motion blur. A finished reel as a starting point, every cut still editable.
One flight, one reel
Turns one great continuous flight into a fitted 30 or 60 second reel. The best moments stay at real speed and the slow stretches fly by, all on the music.
Smooth, not cheap
Tasteful, deliberate boomerang moves on long passes. Not the cheap fast flick.
The artist, up front
Drop the artist’s or brand’s logo on the opening frames. AI finds the logo, then animates and sizes it to look right as your Instagram grid cover.
The music fits the cut
Pick a length and the track is remixed to land on it, so the cut lands on the beat. Preview the track right in the edit page.
Export and delivery
Every shape your client needs.
Send every flight out in every aspect ratio at once, named and foldered so you can hand it straight to the client.

I fly and process FPV at festivals. Nothing on the market synced our flights to the board reliably, so I engineered the tool I needed. It has been tested on real sets from multiple events, and now I want to bring it to the community.Jason El Moussa Big Sky FPV, Orange, California

What is free and what is in Studio?
The free version stabilizes GoPro and DJI O4 flights, edits on the timeline, grades with the built in LUTs and looks, syncs one camera to one audio file, and exports H.264 up to 4K with no watermark. Studio adds festival and multi cam sync, noise reduction, optical flow slow motion, the auto editor, audio remix, the AI logo, batch export, 10 bit HEVC and every aspect ratio at once.
What does Studio cost?
$99 one time, no subscription. It runs on two computers and includes every 3.x update. If it is not for you, ask for a full refund within 14 days.
Is there a free trial of Studio?
The free version is the trial. Run your own flights through it, and you can see every Studio tool in the app before you buy.
Which cameras does it stabilize?
GoPro HERO5 and newer with HyperSmooth off, and the DJI O4 Air Unit and O4 Air Unit Pro, each from its own gyro data. GoPro and DJI drone LUTs are built in for the grade.
Does sync only work at festivals?
No. It was built for festival board audio, the hardest case there is, and it syncs any outside recording: a field recorder at a car meet, a lav at a wedding, a mixer at a game. Studio lines up every camera of the day on one timeline.
Do I have to slate every flight?
No. Film the SyncFPV Slate’s clock check for 10 seconds with each GoPro before the first set and after the last one. SyncFPV finds those clips, measures how far each camera’s own clock is off and how much it drifts, and gives every flight its true time. Slate a flight anyway when you want the artist on the picture.
Does it work with footage I already stabilized?
Yes. Export from your stabilizing app with audio on. If a stabilized file lost its audio, point SyncFPV to the original GoPro files and it takes the sound from those.
Windows or Mac?
Both. Windows 10 and 11, and Macs with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) on macOS 14 Sonoma or newer. There is no Intel Mac version. FFmpeg is built in, so there is nothing extra to install. A graphics card makes exports faster on NVIDIA, Intel, AMD and Apple, but it isn’t required.
